Company Policy

This policy is intended to strategically place the company both conceptually, theoretically and practically in the position, which will enable it to fulfill and materialize its vision and mission. The provision of this document is binding on all the management team (i.e. directors, project coordinators) and the staff members of the company (BTTE). It is therefore incumbent upon ev ery staff members and Management team to acquaint them and apply the provisions of this document in all their dealings with the organization and its clients. In order to achieve the company's vision,the Management team staffs herein adopt the policy rules set out below:

1. CULTURE OF THE ORGANISATION
The organization adopts the culture of accountability and service excellence as its primary foundation.

2. POLITICAL ASSOCIATION
BATAUNG TSWELOPELE TRADING ENTREPRISE (BTTE) is a political but the management team and staff members are free to associate with any political party or organization of their choice. However, either Management team or staff members should promote no political party or organization during the course and scope of conducting business with the clients or other companies.

3. RELIGIOUS BELIEFS
Management team and staff members have a right to keep religious beliefs of their choice without being criticized and or discriminated against. However, extremists like Satanists and those who like to proselytize other people within the company are strictly prohibited to practice such religion in the organization premises.

4. PRIVACY/CONFIDENTIALITY
All company documents are the property of the company and shall not be given to person who is not either Management team or staff members of the company unless they are being used in the ordinary course of business with other persons. Company decisions; strategies and business transactions should always be kept strictly private and confidential between Management team and staff members. No staff members shall engage in any private deals and bind the company and its management team. Only deals made with the knowledge and consent of all the Management team shall be binding on the company. All letters written in the company letter heads must be signed by
the Managing Director or Project Director or on his/her behalf with his/her consent.

5. TRANSPORT
Staff members shall always be re-imbrued for travelling costs incurred during the fulfillment of company duties except travelling for purpose of coming to work or attending workshops.

6. RESPECT
Both Management team and staff members owe the greatest debt of respect to each other and to clients. Rude and arrogant behaviour will always be met with deserved disciplinary action. We should respect each other both as individuals and as professionals. Everybody is expected to conduct him or herself in a manner that shows adulthood and respect in any given set of circumstances. Co-operation between the Management team and staff is of vital importance towards the pursuit of company objectives.

7. PUNCTUALITY
Both management team and staff members shall adhere to TIME, be it the;

  • Scheduling of appointments
  • Delivery of reports and Presentations
  • Tender / Proposal submissions
  • Payment of Taxes, Rates and Bills etc.
