  BTTE management acknowledges and respect individual's privacy with regards to their state of health and staff members to do so while management will encourage individuals to voluntarily disclose their state of health which may interfere with performance and production, and guarantees support and confidentiality. Employment however will not be determined by an individual's health status. No one will have to undergo a pre- medical employment examination.  
   
HIV/AIDS POLICY

This policy document serves as a guideline in regulating staff members’ conduct with regards to HIV/ AIDS in the company. The policy apply to both infected and the affected staff members. All applicants will be screened following BTTE employment policy processes and based on the policy and job requirements. Relevant individuals will be appointed. Management guarantees and will ensure that all stakeholders Infected and affected, are given support and necessary protection by including an HIV / AIDS awareness programme in the company's life skills training programme.
